Santa Sofia

treasures

Santa Sofia is a small village in the Apennines founded in 1811 by the merger of several small villages that were in its territory.

Located within the Foreste Casentinesi National Park, its territory has long been the timber reserve of the Grand Duchy of Tuscany (It is said that the wood of this forest was used for the construction of the Florence Cathedral).

Today is a beautiful location for walkers, food lovers, and spa treatments.

Petrella Guidi

treasures
Small village in the Val Marecchia, was one of the thirteen castles of the Vicariate of Sant’Agata Feltria. The village surrounding the castle is a beautiful example of medieval architecture, with tall houses and stone and narrow streets that is a pleasure for walkers.

Petrella Guidi is a place that we recommend to all who love the relaxed life, walks and the good Romagna cuisine.

Gualtieri Theatre

treasures

The Gualtieri Theatre is a space that we might call “opposite theater“, a theater where the audience sits in place of the stage while the actors move in public spaces.
This little hidden gem was built along with the Palace that welcomes him around the sixteenth century by Cornelio Bentivoglio and from then it has always been active as a public art space.

Tresigallo

treasures
Tresigallo is a town in the province of Ferrara, but it is considered together with Sabaudia one of the symbol of rationalist architecture. Tresigallo infact is an ancient center of medieval origin that lives its most important period since the Thirties, when Edmondo Rossoni, Minister of Agriculture of the Mussolini government, transforms it according to the canons of rationalist architecture with its typical buildings.
For these reasons it got the award of “Art Cities” of Emilia Romagna.
