They’re cold days in Italy…
Frost, cold, ice, how many times have you heard these words in last days?
An arctic low-pressure area is going through our country carrying with it a sharp air and very low temperatures.
But today we would like to invite you to a different adventure, that we can say daring in some aspects: this weekend instead of staying warm at your home we’d like to carry there where the freeze air beats harder, in the position where Winter shows his bad face… On the peaks of the Apennines of Emilia Romagna.
They are accessible places only for those adventurous, exceptionally available for you at home due to the power of digital photography.
We will go on the top of Cimone Mount, which with its 2165 meters is the highest peak in the Apennines (and from which ti is possible to run you sight far away until the Corsica), and then we will climb the Cusna Mount, Alpe di Succiso and the Corno alle Scale.
We will bring you on the heights of Mount Maggiorasca, on the border between Liguria and the Parma province, on Monte Giovo, which instead marks the border with Tuscany and then we will lead you in Romagna Region, to Sasso di Simone, a huge limestone blocks which stands on the Rimini’s Apennines.
The only trick we ‘d like to suggest you is to not forget to wear gloves and hat, even though our photo gallery is a digital product, the winter images have the power to bring off the temperatures even at your home! ;)
