If you are highly passioned about photography, if you love to investigate reality, and if you were born after 1 January 1982, then we suggest you submit your work (even if it is still in the planning stage). Entry is free of charge. The award value is 5,000 euros gross shall be used to cover the general and/or related expenses of the project. Furthermore, the winner will exhibit his work within the 2023 edition of SI FEST.
The winner of the Marco Pesaresi Award will be officially proclaimed during the opening weekend of the 31st edition of SI FEST in Savignano sul Rubicone (September 9.10.11, 2022). The Award is granted by a jury, formed by Alex Majoli (Chair of selection panel), Mario Beltrambini (Savignano Immagini), Piero Delucca (Comune di Rimini), Giulietta Palumbo (Magnum Photos) and Andrea De Franciscis (Marco Pesaresi Award 2021 winner).

Created in 2002, a few months after Marco Pesaresi died, the award ranks among its winners photographers who have made a name for themselves internationally, starting with Majoli himself, who was awarded in the first edition.

Submissions will be accepted until Sunday 14 August 2022, 11.59 pm CET. To enter the competition, the official form must be filled in.
